Default Invisible Bridge Obstructions

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but on various PvP maps there are bridges. These bridges have the ability to completely screw with projectile attacks. Anyone who stands on a side or corner of a bridge automatically becomes invincible against projectiles - any time someone attempts to attack them with an arrow or spear, the obstruction message comes up. Dunno why it has not been fixed, but for now casters can pretty much pwnserface rangers and paragons.

This bug has been known forever, actually if you are on the side of a bridge where you'll be obstructed from projectiles on the bridge, you can be hit by projectiles from below as if the game thinks the bridge is smaller.

It's been like this forever and I doubt it will be fixed. The best thing to do is just move around until you find a point where your projectiles aren't obstructed anymore. There's only a few rare places on specific maps where you're totally 100% protected from projectiles from every single angle possible. So eventually you'll find a spot where you can hit them again.

I have missed so many important dshots in RA because of that stoopid bridge on the map with priests and spiked coral(wtf is spiked coral anyway) on the ground. I can only hope I have been saved by that bridge as many times when playing caster, but AFAIK I know that bridge has been nothing but trooble.

Though when they managed to fix the broken fence in AB you'd think they could repair some broken bridges as well.

There are a couple of these, it even happens with walls sometimes. I know, in the fort koga RA map, there's a well known wall that if you stand next to it, you can be in melee range and not be able to hit with a projectile.

Reference: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Bow

Bug: Bows frequently fail to work properly on bridges, stairs and balustrades. It's possible to use a touch skill on an enemy, then attempt to shoot it with a bow, and get the "obstructed" message.

Never will be fixed.
Adding an entire z axis to the game would simply be a retarded amount of work that simply wouldn't be anywhere near worth it.
